The Ballykisteen Hotel is located less then 2km from Limerick Junction train station. A taxi service is available, and it may be possible to organise a shuttle bus for groups - more details will become available closer to the time of the school.
The closest airport to the venue is Shannon Airport. There are flights into Shannon from a number of European and American destinations.
If you fly into Shannon, you will need to take a bus into the bus and rail terminal in Limerick city, where you can then get a train to Limerick Junction.
Limerick Junction is well served by trains. From Limerick, the trip is approximately 45 minutes on the Limerick-Dublin or Limerick-Cork routes. From Dublin, the journey is approximately 2 hours on the Dublin-Cork route.
Due to the expense of tickets bought at the station, it is strongly recommended that you book any rail tickets online at the Irish Rail website. These can then be picked up from kiosks at the station.
Limerick Junction is approximately 30 minutes from Limerick city. Take the N24 (signed for Waterford and Tipperary) south. The Ballykisteen Hotel is on the right just after you pass Monard and just before reaching the Tipperary Race Course and Limerick Junction.
Take the N7 south all the way to Limerick. The N7 become the M7 at Annacotty roundabout (it has a flyover directly across the roundabout. Take the roundabout exit signed for M20 (Cork) onto the M7. Then take the first exit off the M7, the N24 signed for Waterford and Tipperary. Follow the road south for approximately 30 minutes. The Ballykisteen Hotel is on the right just after you pass Monard and just before reaching the Tipperary Race Course and Limerick Junction.
